The Berkner Rams easily defeated the W.T. White Longhorns 78-54 Friday night at the Berkner gym. With the win, the Rams' district record improves to 5-0, while White drops to 2-3. It's a great time to be a Ram!

Elsewhere, the Richardson Eagles defeated the Skyline Raiders 60-43 to improve their record to 5-0, matching the Rams atop District 9-5A. A showdown between the two district leaders is scheduled for next Tuesday in the Richardson gym.

OTBR: An Australian Paddock

Latitude: S 38° 19.980
Longitude: E 144° 13.308

We're off the red roads [the US and state highways]. We're off the black roads [the county highways]. I think we're off the map altogether." It was always my dream to be off the map altogether.

After the jump, a few of the random places (and I mean random literally) that I visited vicariously last month that are "off the blue roads".

Richardson City Council Cuts Back its Schedule

If the council approves changes to its schedule, it would skip work sessions on fifth Mondays. In addition, the proposed schedule also would omit meetings on MLK Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day, the Monday that falls during the Richardson and Plano school districts’ spring break, the Monday following Independence Day and the meetings that fall on the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

After the jump, four reasons why this is a good thing.
