Black Adam (2022): The plot is a mess. The list of characters endless. The acting non-existent. The casual violence shameful. The CGI action needs a gearbox. Honestly, I can't think of one positive thing to say about this movie. D-
No mention of Duane Johnson, a Samoan, playing an Egyptian super hero? ;-) There was a potential positive? The mid-credits appearance of Superman saying "we should talk"?
Steve Salavarria, thanks for the feedback. I suppose I should have said something about Dwayne Johnson. He can't act, which is why I suppose he chose a movie that didn't demand more than staring, scowling, and tossing out a few laugh lines like, "Catchphrase, then kill."
Dwayne Johnson was a fine actor in his WWE time, but my uncertainty is about calling Black Adam a hero. I always thought, at a stretch, an anti-hero. And not terribly good. John Hall
