Gary Lowery is an assistant football coach at Hampton University. His tweet teaches a lesson that's applicable to much more than football.90% of time I will stop recruiting a kid when the parents complain about the High School coaches. I don't want somebody else's headache.

It reminds me of the story about an old codger sitting at the edge of town as travelers come through. One asks what the town is like. The old man asks him what it was like where the traveler came from. The travelers says he hated it and complains for several minutes. The old man tells him that then he'll hate this new town, too. This is repeated for the next traveler, only he tells the old man that he loved the town he had just left and praises it for several minutes. The old man tells him that then he'll love this new town, too.
That story in turn reminds me of some of the people I read on Facebook discussing the RISD 2016 bond. Go figure. My bad.
