So soon after the Newtown gun massacre, which took the lives of 20 children and six adults, only in Texas could a candidate for statewide public office think the ad at the right helps his election campaign. (And only in Texas would he probably be correct.)
Isn't it wonderful to live in a state where most of the citizens believe in the idea of following the law and the constitution are much more treasured than emotional knee jerk reactions? Isn't it wonderful to not live in a state where liberal elitist with emotional driven values are few and far between?

Jerry Patterson is a small-minded individual only interested in serving his own interests, not serving the people of Texas. He is not worthy of your vote and has made an effort to demonstrate that on many occasions.
ReplyDeleteBeyond that, I respectfully disagree with Mr. Chenoweth's characterization of liberal's as "elitest" and having "emotional driven values."
Honestly I find members of both liberal and conservative mindsets that are emotionally driven. And plainly to use terms like "liberal elitist" infers a mindset not open to discussion but rather filled with disdain - which is disappointing.
